There's nothing better on a lazy Sunday morning than playing songs from Alicia Keys albums. Within a few short years, Alicia Keys has already sold millions of albums, won several Grammy awards and received critical acclaim. 1. "Songs in A Minor" Alicia Keys made a big splash on the music scene with her release of "Songs in A Minor" in 2001. The first single, "Fallin," perfectly showcases her ability to use her strong voice to make listeners feel every emotion that she is going through. The lyrics to "Fallin" document her love / hate relationship with someone, something which all people in a complicated relationship can relate to. The following singles, "A Woman's Worth" and "How Come You Don't Call Me" are equally good piano driven soul ballads while "Girlfriend" shows that she is just as good on songs with a more hip-hop beat. The album garnered Alicia Keys five Grammy awards and has sold 6.2 million copies as of April 2011.
2. "Unplugged" Alicia Keys is one of the few artists who are better live than recorded. She doesn't need auto-tune and infuses even more emotion when she is performing in front of an audience.  Released in 2005, "Unplugged" was recorded live at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The album includes songs from "Song in A Minor" and her second album, "The Diary of Alicia Keys." "Unplugged" debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
3. "The Diary of Alicia Keys" There was immense pressure of Alicia Keys to produce a great second album, considering the huge success of her first, and she did not disappoint with "The Diary of Alicia Keys." Singles such as "You Don't Know My Name" and "If I Ain't Got You" showcase the singer's softer side. This album, released in 2003, also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and won the singer several more Grammy Awards.
4. "As I Am" The pop-influenced "As I Am" was released in 2007 after she took a short break to act. "No One," the album's first single, has an infectious hook that you can't help but sing along to. Just like her two previous recorded albums, "As I Am" debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, an achievement that puts her in the top-tier of recording artists. 
5. "The Element of Freedom" "The Element of Freedom" continues her evolution as an artist. The 2009 album features a reworked version of "Empire State of Mind," her collaboration with Jay-Z that is now the hip-hop anthem of New York City. Collaborations with Beyoncé and Drake shows that she has what it takes to compete with and outshine the music industry's other big stars.
